Packaging Labels Suppliers in Asia

Find suppliers of pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, wraparound labels and specialty printed labeling across Asian manufacturing markets. Label sourcing is often underestimated because the label must work with the container surface, filling process, application equipment, storage conditions and final market requirements.

Regional sourcing strengths

India and Thailand have suppliers combining flexible packaging with decorative labels and sleeves, while South Korea is relevant where labels are integrated with bottle and container production. China and Japan also offer broad commercial and specialty-label capability, but Package Asia only lists suppliers when current public information supports the relevant manufacturing scope.

What to specify in a label RFQ

  • Label type: pressure-sensitive, shrink sleeve, wraparound, in-mold or another format.
  • Face stock, adhesive and liner requirements.
  • Container surface: PET, HDPE, PP, glass, metal, paperboard or flexible film.
  • Application environment including refrigeration, moisture, oil or chemical exposure.
  • Print colors, metallic effects, varnish, embossing, security or variable data.
  • Roll direction, core size, maximum roll diameter and labeling-machine requirements.

Adhesive and application compatibility

A visually attractive label can fail if the adhesive does not match the substrate or storage environment. Curved containers, squeezable bottles, chilled products and oily surfaces can require different adhesive systems. Buyers should share container samples whenever possible and test the final label on the actual package before mass production.

MOQ, print consistency and repeat orders

MOQ depends on label dimensions, material, printing method and finishing. For repeat programs, ask suppliers how they control color across production lots and whether digital or conventional printing is more economical at your volume. Brand owners should also clarify artwork ownership, plate costs and procedures for future design changes.

Build the label into the complete package

Labels should not be sourced in isolation from bottles, jars, pouches or cartons. Container geometry and surface treatment affect application performance, while label dimensions can influence automatic filling and packing lines. For projects still defining the primary package, start with bottles and containers or flexible packaging before finalizing the label specification.

FAQ

Can one label work across several container materials?

Not always. Adhesion can differ on PET, HDPE, PP, glass and coated paperboard, especially under refrigeration or moisture. Confirm the actual substrate and test before production.

What should buyers send with a label RFQ?

Provide artwork, finished label size, material preference, container surface, roll direction, core size, quantity and application method. If a labeling machine is used, include its technical requirements.
